Scripts and remediation

Every run leaves stdout, stderr and an exit code. A non-zero exit is a failure, never a silent success.

Running a script

From a machine page (Run script), from the machines table on several selected machines, from a scheduled job (RMM, Jobs), or from the API. Running asks for a fresh two-factor code. Output streams into the run dialog and is kept in the machine's script history.

Alert-triggered remediation

In an alert rule, under Then fix it, choose a script. When the condition starts on a machine the script runs there automatically, with a cooldown per machine (default hourly) and a daily cap (default 3) so a flapping condition cannot loop. Each run shows as an info alert, a script-history entry and an audit line.

Kill switch

Remote commands and automation can be switched off per organization (RMM, Organizations) and platform-wide by Nyxie. When off, nothing runs and the switch state is visible to you.
