Assets

An asset register that fills itself in.

What arrives on its own

Sync runs every 15 minutes and whenever the asset list is opened after that long. Sync now runs it immediately.

Owner and custodian

The owner is who is responsible for the asset: budget, replacement, sign-off. Pick a user from your account or type a name. The custodian is who has it. For RMM machines the custodian is detected from the user the RMM sees signed in, matched to your user list when the name lines up (ACME\dwhitfield finds Dana Whitfield). It is re-detected on every sync unless you pin it by hand; pinned custodians are never changed by the RMM.

Everything else

Monitors, phones, mobiles, licenses and spare kit are added with Add asset or imported from CSV. Export CSV produces a file you can edit and import back; rows whose tag or serial already exists update that asset.

Filters and views

The tiles at the top are filters: all, in use, no custodian, no owner, warranty ending within 90 days. Kind chips and the organization select narrow further. Users limited to some organizations see only those organizations' assets.

History

Every asset keeps a log: discovery, custodian detections, owner and custodian changes, status changes and edits, with who did it and when.

Settings

Account settings, Assets: turn RMM or network discovery off, stop custodian detection, stop automatic retirement, and set the asset tag prefix.
