Organizations, users and roles
One account, many organizations, users scoped to the ones they look after.
Account
Your company. It has a name (shown on every email and on the sign-in page), an access ID for support, billing, and the list of products you use.
Organizations
Sites or customers inside the account. Devices enrol into an organization; alerts, policies, maintenance windows and tickets can be scoped to one. Manage them under Account settings, Organizations. Only an empty organization can be deleted and an account keeps at least one.
Roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| admin | everything, including users, billing, SSO, API keys and support access codes |
| operator | day-to-day work: machines, alerts, scripts, patches, tickets, reports |
| readonly | see everything, change nothing |
Operators and read-only users can be limited to some organizations (Account settings, Users, Edit). Admins always see the whole account.
Two-factor authentication
Every user can turn it on under Account settings, Security. Running scripts, remote sessions and editing during a support session ask for a fresh code even inside a signed-in session.
