Alerts and phone push
Rules decide what is worth waking you for; the phone gets the four verbs you need.
Alert rules
RMM, Alert rules. A rule has a trigger (CPU, memory, disk, offline, patch state, SMART failure, new device and more), a scope (all devices, an organization, a group, one device), a severity, how long the condition must hold, and channels: in-app, email, Slack, webhook. A rule can also run a script when it starts firing.
What silences an alert
- Per-machine maintenance mode (the wrench on a machine).
- A maintenance window that covers the machine and has alerts quiet.
- Acknowledging it.
Alert row actions
Every row on the Alerts page has Machine, Connect (remote desktop), Run script, Ticket (opens the support desk with the form prefilled) and Acknowledge.
Push to a phone
- Open console.nyxie.io on the phone. On iPhone use Share, Add to Home Screen, and open it from there; iOS only allows push for installed web apps.
- Account settings, Notifications, Turn on for this device. Choose the minimum severity.
- Send a test.
A notification carries Acknowledge and Open ticket buttons. Tapping the body opens the machine. Critical alerts stay on screen until you act.
Webhooks
Per rule, with an optional signing secret. Payloads and signature verification are in the API reference.
